"The light gold-colored 2012 Chardonnay Lorenzo Vineyard exhibits aromas of green apple skins, white peaches, honey and caramelized citrus. Medium to full-bodied and pure, this top-notch Lorenzo Vineyard offering should evolve for 7-8 years – but who can resist it now? I was surprised by how many different selections Landmark Vineyards has morphed into, as well as by major changes made to their label. I tasted six Chardonnays and eight Pinot Noirs, all from the 2012 vintage, so things have changed dramatically since the last time I visited. All in all, Landmark Vineyards has fashioned an impressive group of Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from a dizzying array of sources."
