"The 2017 Heritage Wine Pagani Ranch is flat-out gorgeous and one of the many bright spots in this range. Beautifully lifted, with striking aromatic presence and nuance, the Pagani is expressive and delicious, even in the early going. Sweet floral notes and a rush of red cherry/plum fruit make a strong opening statement. In 2017, the Pagani is especially pretty and silky. Bedrock did not bring in any fruit from the old-vine Alicante block that typically comprises 10–12% of the blend, so in 2017, the Pagani is a bit different in style than usual."
