95 AM "From terres rouges in Chambolle. Here the expressive nose offers up a high-toned, pure and impressively complex mix of red and blue pinot fruit, violets and discreet wood nuances. There is fine richness and excellent concentration to the powerful middle weight flavors that brim with a fine minerality on the attractively textured if moderately austere, balanced and built to age finish. As with the Clos de la Roche, there is excellent phenolic ripeness to the structural elements and this will require ample patience before it arrives at its apogee."
