"A classic Les Cailles as this is spicy, indeed almost seductive with an intense, nuanced and highly complex black fruit nose followed by classy and sophisticated flavors underpinned by dense but quite fine tannins and knock out length. This is a wine of contrasts as the flavors are generous yet the overall impression is one of cool reserve. The firm, slightly edgy structure is entirely buried at present and this will require patience before it reveals all of its considerable potential."
