"(Made with 85% whole clusters.) Youthful purple. Mineral- and spice-accented aromas of cassis, cherry liqueur, Asian spices and licorice, along with a hint of olive in the background. Juicy and focused on the palate, showing superb depth as well as energy to the bitter cherry, dark berry spicecake and floral pastille flavors. Fine-grained tannins build steadily and shape the finish, which shows intense mineral cut and wonderful, spice- and floral-driven persistence."
