"Most-planted variety in British Columbia (easy to grow and sell) but now being planted less. This is a popular style but now being made drier (eg Olivier Humbrecht for Phantom Creek). Leading [British Columbia] wine writer Anthony Gismondi is sure it will evolve. Poplar Grove is owned by a popular local medical man Tony Holler who made his money by inventing a vaccine. Clean and crisp and off dry. Bright fruit."
