"An expressive nose that is fully mature and quite ripe with a very supple and sweet mid-palate that is wonderfully complex if not particularly well focused. A rush of tannins arrives on the finish and it's unlikely that this will ever harmonize as there isn't enough fruit to see the structure through to full resolution. Still, this is attractive in its fashion and would best be served with appropriate food to buffer the tannins . . . . Multiple and consistent notes."
