"A huge, dramatic wine, the 2014 Corton Clos du Roi is endowed with notable depth, gravitas and pure intensity. Black cherry, plum, licorice, gravel, smoke and cured meats give the 2015 its brooding, personality. Today the flavors are very primary and super-concentrated. I imagine the 2015 will need a number of years to start coming into its own. Even so, the 2015 is quite impressive today, that much is obvious."
