"The 1995 Chablis Grand Cru Blanchots performed brilliantly after more than two decades in bottle. It had an elegant grapefruit and clear honey-tinged bouquet that is beautifully defined and seemed to blossom in the glass, gaining more and more intensity with each swirl of the glass. The palate is medium-bodied and very refined, the quality of the terroir clear to see. Very harmonious and focused, it fans out gloriously on the finish, completing a fabulous mature Blanchots that is à point. Tasted November 2016."
