". . . it was easy to see that underneath is a really lovely bottle in the making. The deep and complex nose offers up a sappy blend or red and black cherries, red plum, stony soil tones, vinesmoke, roses and mustard seed. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very pure on the attack, with a superb core of sappy fruit, brilliant soil inflection, ripe tannins and great length and grip on the focused and tangy finish. Because of the reduction, I am probably underestimating this superb wine just a bit."
