"The 2012 Clos du Four is very fine, as it beautifully synthesizes the depth and intensity of this terroir with the inherent elegance of the vintage. The bouquet is deep and very classy, offering up scents of apple, peach, tangerine, a fine, complex base of soil and a vibrant topnote of citrus zest. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and beautifully focused, with excellent mid-palate concentration, superb focus and balance, bright acids and excellent backend energy on the long and complex finish. A fine vintage for this consistently excellent wine."
