"607 cases from vines planted in 19822; bottled at 13.9%. A discreet touch of wood frames deeply pitched notes of briar, ripe plum, spice and hints of earth and forest floor that marry into rich, full and moderately robust flavors that are both delicious and firmly, though not aggressively, structured. I like the balance here and this should also prove to be eminently age worthy. In a word, lovely."
