". . . an elegant, outstanding wine that has loads to offer. Sporting a translucent purple/ruby color as well as perfumed notes of black raspberries, blueberries, exotic spices, sage, and underbrush, itâs medium to full-bodied, silky, elegant, and ready to go. Despite its upfront appeal, I suspect it will keep nicely for a decade or more given its overall balance."

Renowned for powerful, richly fruited Shiraz, most famously from the Barossa Valley, alongside age-worthy Cabernet and cool-climate whites. A warm climate and old, ungrafted vines produce wines of generosity and depth.
Syrah (Shiraz) produces dark, powerful reds with black fruit, pepper and smoked-meat notes. It yields elegant, perfumed wines in the northern Rhone and bold, rich styles in Australia.
