"Purchased at the great Napa restaurant Press, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon showed brilliantly. A powerful, locked-and-loaded 2013 that’s just about as good as anything out there, it reveals a deep purple color as well as a blockbuster nose of blackcurrants, scorched earth, violets, candied flowers, and chocolate. With building minerality on the palate, full-bodied richness, a monster of a mid-palate, and a great finish, this is another insanely good 2013 that will take another 4-5 years of bottle age and will evolve for 30-40 years."
