"Bright ruby-red. Wild crushed blackberry, tar, licorice and a meaty whiff of reduction on the complex nose. Juicy, reduced and a bit tart-edged, with a slightly disjointed quality to the crushed berry and dried fruit flavors. A distinctly dry style, even a bit austere on the back, with firm tannic spine and elevated acids."
