"Bright red color. Highly aromatic nose melds red fruits, blueberry, violet, smoke, lavender and caramel, accented by white pepper. Wonderfully sweet and smooth but with a strong mineral underpinning to its flavors of berries, spice box and peat moss. A serious tannic spine currently cuts off the finish, but this youthfully tight wine has terrific aging potential. Lay this one down."
