"The question is: did I under-rate the 2011 Bourgogne Aligoté a couple of years ago? Maybe so. This has a lovely popcorn and brioche-tinged nose that is beautifully defined and vibrant. The palate has a little spiciness emanating from the grape variety, wonderful balance and poise, seemingly gaining weight over the last couple of years. Utterly delicious and polished off far too quickly."
