"(100% aglianico; 5.25 g/l total acidity; 3.77 pH; 31.8 g/l dry extract; 13.6% alcohol): Bright, fully saturated ruby-red. Captivating nose combines very pure, intense scents of raspberry, red cherry, tobacco, leather, warm stones and pepper. Dense, rich and complex, with harmonious acidity giving shape and freshness to the wine's highly concentrated raspberry, red plum, tobacco and floral flavors. This extremely intense, multilayered wine finishes savory and minerally, with very smooth tannins, lovely lingering perfume and an almost opulent texture, yet remains graceful and refined. One of the greatest Taurasi bottlings of the last 30 years. This wine's name refers to Mastroberardino's 130-year history of exporting wine."
