"The 2011 OV has turned out beautifully. Espresso, mocha, red plums, sweet spices, licorice and rose petals jump from the glass in an impeccable drop-dead gorgeous wine loaded with Oakville character. The aromatics are bright and precise, which gives the 2011 a level of aromatic lift that is beguiling. Some of that is the vintage, but the high amount of Cabernet Franc in the blend is also very much felt. Ideally the 2011 needs another year or two in bottle for the tannins to soften, but it is drop-dead gorgeous."
