"The 2005 Flaccianello della Pieve is impressive. It boasts striking inner perfume and sweetness to match its considerable sexiness. Today the wine is firing on all cylinders. The 2005 can be enjoyed today, but also has more than enough structure and acidity to develop nicely for a number of years. Floral notes add lift and brightness on the feminine finish. This sexy Flaccianello is a great effort in a vintage that was not without its challenges."
