"A wine that could flirt with perfection (and there's more than one in this lineup), the 2013 Fracture EXT got a few expletives and wows in the notes. Still in barrel and the same blend as the normal release (100% Syrah), it offers up notes of cassis, vanilla bean, tobacco leaf, minerals and spring flowers. Thick, concentrated, structured and dense, yet still light on its feet and graceful, it's an insanely good Syrah. . ."

The fourth-largest wine producer in the world, led by California. American fine wine is defined by ripe, expressive fruit and a spirit of innovation, with Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon among the most sought-after wines globally.
Syrah (Shiraz) produces dark, powerful reds with black fruit, pepper and smoked-meat notes. It yields elegant, perfumed wines in the northern Rhone and bold, rich styles in Australia.
