"The 2008 Rougeots was also showing great promise in November, but it was a tad more reserved than the lovely bottle of Chevalières at this point in its evolution. The deep and reticent nose offers up scents of apple, a touch of grapefruit, iodine, hazelnuts, vanillin oak and a great base of complex soil tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very structured, with great mid-palate depth, snappy acids, and excellent focus and cut on the very long, pure and palate-staining finish. Another great wine in the making."
