The Bricco Mollea ‘Vurei di Massimo Martinelli’ is made from Nebbiolo grown in the softer, sandier side of La Morra and from Vicoforte in the southernmost tip of Langhe Region, at the foot of the Maritime Alps. Old vines dominate both vineyards and Massimo’s regenerative farming approach helps the vines explore and express these extreme locations. Langhe Nebbiolo is a pleasurable and approachable wine that offers plenty of varietal purity. Clarity of the Nebbiolo grape shines through with its classic aromas of forest berry, white licorice, and dusty earth. The wine offers everything you look for in Langhe Nebbiolo: informality, elegance, and personality…which kind of describes Massimo himself.

Italy grows more indigenous grape varieties than any other country and produces wine in all 20 of its regions. From Piedmont's Nebbiolo to Tuscany's Sangiovese, its finest wines pair structure and bright acidity with a strong sense of place.
In Italy's northwest, Piedmont is home to Nebbiolo, the grape behind the powerful, perfumed and long-lived reds of Barolo and Barbaresco. Fog-shrouded hills and calcareous soils define its greatest wines.
Produces pale but powerfully tannic and perfumed reds with tar, rose and cherry notes. The grape behind Barolo and Barbaresco, it is among the most age-worthy in the world.
