"The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane is another heavenly wine from this estate. Coming from unquestionably one of the great terroirs in the valley, its dense purple color is followed by a blockbuster array of smoky blackcurrants, chocolate, smoke tobacco, violets, truffle, and damp earth. This rich, full-bodied, opulent Cabernet has a stacked, layered mid-palate, building, ripe tannins, no hard edges, and just flawless integration and balance. It already offers pleasure, yet do your best to hide bottles for 4-5 years. It should cruise in cold cellars for 2-3 decades."
