"Saturated ruby-red. Vibrant, perfumed, Cote-Rotie-like aromas of black raspberry, toasted marshmallow, lead pencil, leather, smoke and pepper, plus a hint of crystallized berries. Intensely flavored but still rather backward; sappy violet and pepper flavor. Offers lovely lightness of touch. Wonderful expanding aftertaste is firm, long and youthful."
