"I continue to absolutely love the white from this estate, and their 2019 Château Margaux Pavillon Blanc is another brilliant release. All Sauvignon Blanc, it has a vibrant sense of minerality and chalkiness as well as notes of honeyed grapefruit, melon, and white flowers. As pure, focused, and balanced as they come, it's medium to full-bodied, has bright acidity and a great mid-palate, as well as concentration. It's approachable today yet will benefit from a year or three in the cellar and should be very long-lived."

The world's most influential fine-wine producer and the benchmark for Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and the Rhone. Its appellation (AOC) system codifies geography, grape and method, and its wines set the global standard for age-worthiness and terroir expression.
The world's largest fine-wine region, built around blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Divided by the Gironde estuary into the structured Left Bank and the plush, Merlot-led Right Bank, it is the historic benchmark for age-worthy claret and sweet Sauternes.
The Left Bank appellation prized for perfumed, silky and elegant Cabernet-based wines. Gravel soils yield claret of aromatic finesse and refinement.
2019 in Bordeaux was a warm, balanced vintage that retained freshness despite summer heat spikes; the wines are ripe yet classically proportioned, with silky tannins, aromatic lift, strong value and fine aging potential.
Yields crisp, aromatic whites with citrus, herb and grassy notes. It shines in the Loire, Bordeaux blends and around the world for its refreshing zip.
Prized both for age-worthy dry whites and, when affected by noble rot, the great sweet wines of Sauternes. It offers waxy texture and honeyed depth.
