"The 2014 Nervo Ranch Heritage Wine, from a parcel planted in 1896, opens with soaring aromatics. Sweet red cherry, pomegranate, gravel, smoke and mint are some of the signatures in this remarkably open-knit, mid-weight Alexander Valley red. This is another magnificent wine that only continues to grow time in the glass. Tasted a full day after I first opened the bottle, the Nervo Ranch was even more striking."
