"Good full, deep red. Roasted black fruits, licorice, game, chocolate and coffee on the highly complex nose. Ripe yet dry, with superb richness and depth but also plenty of acidity. In fact, this is quite tight and closed in for a young 2003. Youthfully medicinal and not especially sweet. Finishes long and subtle, with substantial tannic structure."
