"One of my favorite cuvees out there, Ferrandoâs 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape Colombis is a 100% Grenache cuvee that comes all from sandy soils. Like most 2009s, itâs an exuberant, sexy beast that has tons of sweet kirsch, garrigue, dried herbs and sandy/loamy soil notes. Seemingly on a fast-evolutionary track, with plenty of sweet fruit and a great finish, I wouldnât delay gratification on this beauty and would plan on finishing my last bottle within the next decade."
