"With the crop off by 60% in Caillerets in 2016, it is not surprising that this bottling is again more powerful in personality this year. The bouquet is deep, focused and very expressive, delivering a fine combination of apple, passion fruit, orange zest, white flowers, a lovely base of soil tones and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, racy and full-bodied, with a rock solid core, great cut and grip, superb backend mineral drive and a very long, complex and vibrant finish. Outstanding juice."
