"Tangerine and a hint of reductive notes. Rather more citrus fruit than stone fruit. A trace of roasted coffee. After some aeration roasted hazelnut can be detected too. On the palate there is great homogeneity, and a gentle drive in the build-up, which leads into a persistent plateau phase with ripe acidity and measured phenolics; very powerful, and with a finish that has a somewhat astringent minerality. A powerful, mighty wine. A very dense finish that almost requires one to chew. Very salty."
