"Dark blackish ruby. Gorgeously mellow and mature. All those tannins have completely disappeared leaving great savoury depth of fruit and the most alluring ripeness. Not the slightest hint of reduction. Possibly even better, and certainly even more mature, than the magnum of 1997 enjoyed recently."
