"The 2016 Rice-Spivak Vineyard is laced with black cherry, lavender, mint, spice, dried flowers and licorice. Pliant and expressive, with terrific nuance, the 2016 is absolutely gorgeous. The purity of the flavors is striking. At present, the aromatics are not quite as open as they could be, but I imagine all the 2016 is needs is time to be at its very best. The Rice-Spivak Pinot is another highlight in this range of captivating wines from Ross Cobb."
