"(70% new oak): Bright red. Aromas of dark berries and cherry, with a floral quality adding lift. Cherry-cola and black raspberry flavors show very good depth and are nicely braced by a hint of bitter blood orange. Seems the richest of this set of pinots but it's actually the lowest in alcohol, at 14.7%. Closes smooth and long, with building spiciness and a flourish of vanilla oak."
