Wheeler label portfolio, this is a wine that, vintage after vintage, reveals an elegant, savoury, mineral-driven style of Cabernet sourced from the famous Beckstoffer George III vineyard in the Rutherford AVA. Here, we have this wonderful excess of pure fruit flavours of blackberry and blueberry fruit tinged with aromatic capsicum and salted liquorice. Full-bodied, with tobacco-spiced, fine-grained tannins, notes of toasty graham cracker crust dusted with dried crushed herbs. Such a comforting wine with warm mineral undertones and ripe, succulent mixed berry fruits. Crafted by Nigel Kinsman."
