"The 2010 Les Argillières from Méo-Camuzet is a very black fruity and soil-driven wine this year. The excellent nose jumps from the glass in a blend of black cherries, dark berries, espresso, a touch of lead pencil (from the new wood), dark soil tones and spicy oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and tightly-knit, with lovely transparency, good, solid depth at the core, ripe tannins and very good length and grip on the tangy and well-balanced finish."
