" The new release of the old vine âCuvĂ©e Traditionelleâ from Pierre-Marie Chermette is a beautiful bottle of wine that has to be one of the most poised and gorgeously balanced examples of the vintage. The wine offers up a very pure and vibrant bouquet of cherries, pomegranate, a touch of raw cocoa, woodsmoke, fresh herbs, gentle nutskins, violets and a very complex base of stony soil tones. On the palate the wine is medium-full and laser-like in its focus, with a fine core of fruit, good, tangy acids, superb soil inflection and outstanding length and grip on the slightly tannic finish."
