"Light yellow. Pure, highly perfumed bouquet evokes pear, quince, nectarine and floral honey, with a light dusting of chalky minerals. Brisk and sharply focused, with bright pit fruit flavors, zesty acidity and slow-building spiciness. Winemaker Smith told me that he blocked the malo this year "to preserve the wine's linear character." Very precise and bone dry, with excellent finishing cut."
