"A 1-hectare blend of Groseilles, Baudes, Noirots and Gruenchers, which interestingly are all bunched together, geographically speaking. A discreet but not invisible touch of wood sets off the more elegant and more complex nose that is composed of notes of red cherry, currant, violet and a hint of spice. The medium weight flavors possess a bit more volume and richness along with fine mid-palate density that coats the mouth on the caressing finish where a hint of bitter cherry arises. This relatively powerful effort should be approachable young if that's your preference but it should have no trouble rewarding bottle age.

2015 in Burgundy was warm and dry, yielding concentrated, powerful and opulent reds with ripe tannins from low yields; the whites are richer and generous, though some show comparatively lower acidity.
A thin-skinned, terroir-sensitive red producing perfumed, silky and elegant wines of red-berry fruit and earthy complexity. It reaches its apogee in Burgundy.
