"Bright, dark red. Wild aromas of black fruits, licorice, violet, bitter chocolate and Oriental spices, plus a whiff of leather. Dense, suave and firmly built, showing a distinctly sappy quality to the complex flavors of black fruits, spices and minerals. The energetic, very long finish features suave, firm tannins and bright lingering notes of spices and violet. Showing the serious side of 2011, but Pascal Lachaux destemmed everything in this vintage."
