"A very ripe yet cool nose of fresh dark berry fruit aromas introduces tighter and more focused medium full flavors that deliver good depth and punch, all the while maintaining a fine sense of underlying balance on the nicely persistent finish. This possesses good vibrancy and depth plus it's just simply delicious already and while the reported alcohol levels are the same, this does not evidence any undue warmth. While this could be drunk now with pleasure, it has the stuffing and structure to reward . . . years of cellar time."
