"The 2016 Pinot Noir Cuvée Eva Marie, from Bill Price's Sky Vineyard, shows just how magical the wines of Sonoma Mountain can be. Powerful, deep and also quite structured, the 2017 is going to need a bit of time in bottle to be at its very best. Even in the early going, though, it is super-expressive and full of personality. Readers should expect a potent, brooding Pinot. Black cherry, menthol, lavender and licorice add the closing shades of nuance."
