"From vines planted in 1915 in the sandy soils of Lodi, the 2014 Zinfandel Kirschenmann Vineyard shows Southern Rhône-like kirsch liqueur, strawberries, and an elegant medium to full-bodied style with plenty of fresh red, blue and darker fruits. Although it seems a far reach to compare Zinfandel to Pinot Noir, this is probably the most Pinot Noir-like of the Turley Zinfandels and an elegant, lovely wine . . ."
