"Sourced from 900 tightly spaced estate vines in the Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten, and raised, as its name implies, in 500-liter barrels, largely new, this offers a pungent, distillate-like concentration of flowers and green herbs allied to salinity and alkalinity akin to taking a gulp of seawater. That last description also fits my impression after spitting: There is undeniably brisk stimulation to the intense aftertaste . . ."
