"There are approximately 1000 cases of the 2019 The Maiden, an assemblage of lots that didn't make the final blend for its big sister. Sold only to the mailing list for a third of the price of the Harlan Estate, it's a terrific wine in its own right, with gentle herbal notes accenting mixed red and black cherries. Full-bodied and creamy textured, it finishes lush and long, with hints of mocha creeping in at the end."
