"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley was blended with 5% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot and spent 20 months in a combination of mostly French but some American oak. The wine is a sleeper of the vintage at this price point. Meaty, earthy berry fruit as well as lavender, underbrush, blackcurrants and black cherries jump from the glass of this seriously endowed, fleshy, medium to full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with noticeable but ripe tannin. This is a beauty and definitely a sleeper."
