"The 2007 Petite Syrah Library Vineyard possesses higher acidity as well as a more closed personality. Although it is somewhat monolithic, it is clearly super-concentrated and deep. I’ll reserve judgment until I have had another chance to look at it, but it will undoubtedly be top-flight in terms of quality. It just didn’t sing as loudly as several of its siblings."
