The 2005 Diana Madeline is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, and the balance Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. It was aged in 70% new oak. Purple-colored, it reveals a nose of toast, scorched earth, black currant, and blackberry. Elegantly styled with enough structure to evolve for 4-6 years, the wine has a lengthy, firm finish. It should drink well through 2020. Reviewed by: Jay S Miller

Renowned for powerful, richly fruited Shiraz, most famously from the Barossa Valley, alongside age-worthy Cabernet and cool-climate whites. A warm climate and old, ungrafted vines produce wines of generosity and depth.
The world's most planted premium red grape, yielding deeply colored, tannic and structured wines with cassis, cedar and graphite notes. Firm tannins and acidity make it exceptionally age-worthy, whether as a varietal or the backbone of a Bordeaux blend.
Produces plush, supple, fruit-forward reds with plum and chocolate notes. Softer and earlier-maturing than Cabernet, it adds flesh and roundness to blends and stars in Right Bank Bordeaux.
