The 2006 Pinot Noir Goldschmidt Vineyard is dark ruby-colored with an enticing nose of pain grille, mineral, spice box, black cherry, and plum. This leads to a mid-palate in which an earthy, sauvage note emerges for additional complexity. The finish of this superb effort is velvety, seamless, and persistent. Give it 1-2 years of further bottle age and drink it from 2010 to 2018. Reviewed by:Jay S Miller
