"The 2018 LMV Salon is a blend of 59% Cabernet Franc and 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in French oak, 69% new. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, it comes bounding out of the glass with energetic notes of warm red currants, fresh blackberries and Morello cherries with suggestions of pencil shavings, fallen leaves and dried Provence herbs. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with intense red berry and earthy layers with a firm frame of grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing with a lively herbal lift. 620 cases were made."
